Alligators & American crocodiles
Both are Crocodilians
Florida is the Only place in the World Where they Coexist
Welcome to GiveaCroc, your go-to residential gator survey provider in Florida! We specialize in crocodilian population demographics, determine aggressiveness, and educate the community on proper safety measures.

As Florida is home to a large number of alligators, and an increasing number of crocodiles, it's important to understand their behavior and take appropriate safety measures to coexist with them.
This is where GiveaCroc comes in. Vince and Cherie are dedicated to providing top-notch services to detect potential conflicts BEFORE they occur so humans and crocodilians can enjoy a safer coexistence.
Gator Survey & Aggression Evaluation
Alligators and crocs can be unpredictable and sometimes aggressive, especially during mating, nesting, and hatching seasons. Vince & Cherie will count the number of gators and crocs utilizing a scientific, systematic, nocturnal eye-shine technique with diligent attention to reduce missing partially submurged animals and double counting crossovers. Any encountered agressive behaviorial tendencies will be noted along with the best course of action to keep everyone safe.
Gator Habitat Viability
Maintaining healthy gator populations is crucial for Florida's ecosystems. Gators and crocs keep wetlands in balance. Without them, disease-carrying animals increase in numbers and can make us sick. Any unbalance can kill off an entire ecosystem rendering it lifeless. Based on population survey results, Vince & Cherie will determine if the number and sizes of gators are a healthy self-sustainable population.
Gator Education & Safety
Educating the communities on alligator and croc safety is key to coexisting with these animals. We fear what we don't understand. So by learning the biology and a behavior of crocodilians you will know what to do if you encounter a gator and how to avoid dangerous situations BEFORE they occur.
